Courtney- how exciting! Your'e always doing something amazing! I'm sure you'll get really busy, these pictures are so pretty. Way to go! I ended up getting a Nikon D40, because my photographer friend says he has all kinds of cameras and lenses, and that's the one he uses most. I'm having fun learning how to use it. I figure no matter what, this camera is a million times better than my old point and shoot, so I'm excited!
I love it, you have a great eye for composition. Your pictures of Peyton from your blog blew me away. You have a real talent. Thanks for the advice on the Canon. What lense came with your kit? Was a canon too, and what was the wide to zoom on it? I'd like to find something a little flexible in both ranges. At least an 80 zoom min. and some wide angle abilities. I love very close up still life images, and you've got to have a great wide angle lense for that but I don't think I can justify buying a seperate lense. It just sucks to be dragging aroung equipment and changing your lenses all the time. What are your favorite photoshop effects for your portraits they look so great!
